Your data is never sold to third parties. PROPIX collects only what is necessary to run the app and improve your experience.

1. Data We Collect

When you create a PROPIX account and use the platform, we collect the following types of information:

Account information: Username, email address, account creation date, and authentication credentials (stored as a secure hash — your password is never stored in plain text).
Gameplay data: Prop locks you submit, outcomes (hits/misses), trades executed, packs opened, cards in your collection, and in-game currency (IX) balances.
Progression data: XP earned, path levels, specialist levels, challenge completions, and streak records used to power the PROPIX progression system.
Research behavior: Props you view, players you research, filters you apply, and how you interact with the research and analysis tools — used to personalize your experience and improve app features.
Feed activity: Posts you create, reactions you leave, and comments you submit on the Community Feed.
Device information: Browser type, operating system, and screen size, collected automatically for compatibility and display optimization.

2. How We Use Your Data

All data collected is used exclusively for the following purposes:

App functionality: To operate your account, process prop locks, execute trades, open packs, and deliver all core features of the platform.
Progression tracking: To evaluate your performance across Primary Paths and Secondary Specialist tracks, calculate XP, and maintain your progression history accurately.
Leaderboard display: To rank users by performance metrics and display standings on the Leaderboard. Only your username and relevant stats are visible to other users — your email and account details are never shown publicly.
Community Feed: To display your posts and allow other users to react and comment.
App improvement: Aggregated, anonymized usage patterns help us identify bugs and improve features. No individual user data is used for this without anonymization.

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose beyond operating and improving PROPIX.

3. Data Sharing

Your personal data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes — ever. The only circumstances under which your data may be accessed by parties outside of PROPIX are:

Service providers: Hosting infrastructure required to run the app (e.g., database and server providers). These providers process data solely on our behalf and are prohibited from using it for their own purposes.
Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, we may be obligated to disclose certain information. We will notify affected users when legally permitted to do so.

We do not use third-party advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or data brokers. Your data stays with PROPIX.

4. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access: You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
Data export: You may request an export of your account data, including gameplay history, progression records, and collection, in a machine-readable format.
Deletion: You may request that your account and all associated personal data be permanently deleted. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Note that anonymized aggregate data derived from your activity (with no personally identifying information) may be retained for statistical purposes.
Correction: You may request correction of any inaccurate personal data we hold about you.

5. Cookie Policy

PROPIX uses session cookies exclusively for authentication. These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function — they allow the server to recognize you as a logged-in user across requests.

Session cookies only: No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or persistent third-party cookies are used.
No cross-site tracking: PROPIX does not share cookie data with any external parties.
Expiry: Session cookies expire when you close your browser or log out of the app.

Because the only cookies we use are strictly necessary for authentication, cookie consent banners are not required. If you disable cookies, you will not be able to log in to PROPIX.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all personally identifying data is removed within 30 days. Gameplay records and statistics that have been incorporated into anonymized aggregate data (such as leaderboard history or platform-wide hit rate statistics) may persist in anonymized form after deletion.

8. Changes to This Policy

PROPIX may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
